PROTEFLEX (Flexible Hybrid Waterproofing)
Brief Description
PROTEFLEX 016 is a highly flexible 2-component polymer-modified waterproofing coating (Part A- Powder & Part B- Liquid).
It is suitable to be applied on concrete and mortar to prevent water infiltration as to fill and seal pores, voids crack and hairline of all substrates and yet provides a breathable coating which allows natural water vapor transmission.
Health & Safety:
PROTEFLEX is environmentally friendly – non-hazardous non-flammable material.
RANGE OF USE
■ Subsequent waterproofing of basements
■ Roofs
■ Reservoirs against inside water pressure
■ Wet areas (bathrooms, kitchens, laundries etc..)
■ Building elements in contact with drinking water (Water tanks)
■ Salt-loaded substrates
■ Waterproofing slurry as per German Standards Institute

PROPERTIES
■ Very low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
■ Water pressure tight
■ High sulphate resistance and low active alkali content
■ Very good adhesion to the substrate
■ Enables water vapor diffusion
■ Anti carbonation
■ Non-toxic & Eco-Friendly
■ Chemical resistance according to German Standards Institute
Substrate Preparation
-Verify that the surface is structurally stable and free from oil, grease, dust, or any contaminants that may impair bonding.
-Address any structural cracks or potholes with suitable repair methods.
-Prior to application, ensure all excess or standing water is thoroughly removed.

Mixing & Application Method
Pour component B (liquid) into a clean, appropriate container, then gradually add
component A (powder) while continuously stirring with a mixer. Mix PROTEFLEX 016
thoroughly for several minutes, ensuring no powder adheres to the sides or bottom of the
container. Continue mixing until a uniform blend is achieved. To prevent excessive air from
being incorporated into the mixture, use a low-speed mechanical mixer. Avoid mixing the
product manually.
The coating can be applied with a stiff brush or by an airless spray.
Apply PROTEFLEX 016 within 60 minutes of mixing using a brush or spray. Apply at least two
coats in a crisscross pattern to ensure a uniform layer.
For water tanks and swimming pools, apply a minimum of three coats. Ensure each coat is
fully dry before applying the next layer.
